The mission of the Southern Willamette Research Corridor Consortium
is:
To
stimulate and support continuing economic development and
diversification in the southern Willamette Valley.
To
increase its recognition as a major research and technology
center by coordinating and promoting cooperative activities
of educational institutions; industry; and local, state,
and federal government.
SWRC’s
primary objectives are:
Strengthening the relationship between higher education
institutions, private sector businesses and government
Facilitating
the technology transfer process
Educating
the public on the importance of the Research Corridor
